Less waiting. Better answers.

Strep A Instrument-free molecular testing for real life. Because a sore throat shouldn’t take over your week.

The moment that matters

You don’t need another appointment.
You need a clear next step.

When strep is possible, families end up stuck in limbo. Symptoms look like a lot of things. But the decision is immediate: treat or wait, school or home, urgent care or not. Today, getting a reliable answer often requires time and access most people don’t have at the moment they need it.

What it feels like:

  • The "call at 8 AM" scramble for a same-day slot
  • Hours lost to urgent care for a simple question
  • School/daycare rules that demand proof without offering a path
  • Work and family plans disrupted for days
  • Guessing between “viral” and “infection” and hoping you’re right

The scale

Strep testing is high-volume, high-friction.

Every year, 60M+ Strep A tests are performed

creating avoidable load for families, clinicians, and the healthcare system

The real problem

The system makes certainty hard to get.

Common infections shouldn’t create uncommon chaos.

The current workflow is built around clinics and labs, while decisions happen at home, fast. So people pay a “certainty tax” in time, stress, and unnecessary visits - just to learn whether it’s strep.

Requires a trip to doctor

High costs ($300+), delayed care, and ER overuse.

Throat icon

Invasive throat swab

Uncomfortable - especially for children, creating barriers to timely testing.

Delay icon

Unreliable results & delays

False negatives and lab delays lead to misdiagnosis and delayed treatment.

Why Strep A first

Because it's the “everything stops” moment.

Strep forces an immediate fork in the road.
And the current system turns that fork into a multi-day disruption.

High-frequency and widely understood

Clear "treat vs visit" decision moment

Today's workflow creates avoidable disruption

Quick Answers

It means we're designing the test to deliver molecular results without lab infrastructure or lab logistics.

Not Yet. We're building and validating first - them scaling responsibly.

We’ll share milestones and progress as validation advances.

An antigen test looks for pieces of the bacteria. It’s quick, but it can miss strep if there isn’t enough bacteria in the sample. A molecular test looks for the bacteria’s genetic “fingerprint,” so it can catch infections more reliably.

Usually, yes—because they typically rely on expensive lab instruments and lab workflows. Anywhere Dx is different: we’re building a single-use, fully disposable molecular test designed for home use, with a goal to price it like an antigen test.
